“Moved from South Central PA to Pittsburgh 2 years ago and finally found the best boarding spot for my GSD. Will definitely continue to board here moving forward.”

A resort, not a kennel.
Boujee Barn is built around one question: what would make a dog truly feel at home? The answer isn’t rows of indoor kennels — it’s real rooms. Every suite is individually insulated, so the whole building stays calm and quiet — and every guest gets a real bed, a door to their own outdoor patio, and four very large fenced play yards to actually run in — always as a private session, with the whole yard to themselves. Add real human time all day long, and dogs here settle in, rest, and go home happy.

Pets have been loved here for decades.
Long before Boujee Barn, families across Beaver County knew this farm as Paws Here Awhile Pet Resort — and more recently as the Georgetown location of Golden Wood, which has since closed. When we purchased the property in 2026, we took on more than a building: a place generations of local pets have called their home away from home.
Paws Here Awhile’s original owners have given Boujee Barn their blessing, and we’re proud to carry the tradition forward — the same quiet farm and big yards, now with private insulated suites, real beds included, and owners living right here on-site. If your dog or cat stayed here years ago: welcome back.
Good to know
What vaccines does my dog or cat need to board?
Dogs: Rabies (certificate required by PA state law), Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella. Cats: Rabies, FVRCP, and Chlamydia — and cats must be FeLV/FIV negative (the vaccine itself isn’t required). All guests also need a negative fecal test within 30 days (or proof of recent treatment) and must be on flea prevention during their stay — we offer Frontline Plus if needed. Send records through MoeGo, email them to info@boujeebarn.pet, or have your vet send them directly.
What should I bring for my pet’s stay?
Their regular food (to keep their routine), any medications clearly labeled with instructions, and a favorite blanket, bed, or toy — please label all personal items. We provide bedding, bowls, and all the essentials.
When can I drop off and pick up?
Monday–Saturday: 8:00–10:00 AM & 4:30–6:30 PM. Sunday: 4:30–6:30 PM only. We’re closed for arrivals and departures on major holidays, including Easter, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (evening), Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve (evening), and New Year’s Day. There’s a 15-minute grace period on every window, and pickups outside the scheduled window incur a $40 Extended Care Fee. Need a different time? Call us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Do dogs go home freshly bathed?
Yes — every guest is scheduled for a going-home bath at a discounted rate, and you can upgrade to a full grooming service. If your pick-up time changes, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice so we can adjust the grooming schedule.
What’s the cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a $100 fee per reserved room.
Is the boarding facility at 316 Noll Rd still open?
Very much so. Boujee Barn Pet Resort boards dogs and cats year-round at 316 Noll Rd, Georgetown, PA 15043 — open every day, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM. The previous business at this address did close — and we purchased the property. Boujee Barn Pet Resort has been boarding here since February 2026, and new and returning guests are always welcome — call (724) 368-5088 or book online anytime.
Wasn’t this Paws Here Awhile Pet Resort?
Yes — the very same farm. Paws Here Awhile’s original owners have given Boujee Barn their blessing, and many of their longtime clients board with us today. If your pet stayed here in the Paws Here Awhile days, we’d love to welcome them back.
Is Boujee Barn connected to Golden Wood?
No — Golden Wood’s Georgetown location closed, and we purchased the property in 2026. Boujee Barn Pet Resort is an independent, owner-operated business boarding dogs and cats here every day of the year. Former Golden Wood clients are always welcome — your pet’s favorite yards are still right here.
