Boujee Barn Pet Resort — dog & cat boarding, Day Stay & grooming in Georgetown, PA
A little boujee. A lot of heart.
Our Story

A little boujee.
A lot of heart.

An owner-operated resort on a quiet farm in Georgetown, PA — where calm isn’t a luxury. It’s the whole idea.

Why Boujee Barn exists

Built on one belief: calm, happy pets.

Boujee Barn began with Sue’s simple conviction: pets are at their best when they feel safe, settled, and known. After 20 years in dog rescue — including the family’s own Distinguished Dobermans Rescue — she had read enough dogs to know what they actually want. Not noise and crowds: quiet rooms, steady routines, room to run, and people who pay attention.

Why this farm

The place matched the vision.

When this 8-acre farm in Georgetown came up for sale, it was everything that vision needed: a peaceful countryside setting minutes from Pittsburgh International Airport, room for four very large fenced play yards, horse stables out back, and a building of real rooms — private, insulated, climate-controlled suites, each with a door to its own patio.

We purchased the property in 2026, and Boujee Barn became the next chapter of a farm that local pets have called home for decades. Read the story of 316 Noll Rd →

Owner-operated, family-run

We live here. Really.

Boujee Barn is run by the family that lives right on the property — so your pet is never left alone overnight, and the faces they see in the morning are the same ones that tucked them in. We keep the guest list intentionally small: every guest is a name we know, not a number.

From first-sleepover puppies to golden-oldie regulars, pets here are cared for like our own — because to us, they are.

From the farm’s original founder

“I fully support Sue and Bob and feel confident placing the care of your pets in their hands. I believe you will feel comfortable, safe, and at ease leaving your pets at this special facility.”

“So happy for you, cousin Sue.”

Sue’s cousin — KDKA’s David Highfield — shared our open house with his Pittsburgh Today Live audience, who’ve known “cousin Sue” for years.

“If you’re going somewhere like the Boujee Barn, you know they’re going to be in good hands.”
